El Oso Loco rides with Gazelle-like speed!

If you ever wanted a statement about the value of real food and a plant-based diet, here it is. Our super competitive friend The Crazy Bear, Sean Hernon, is now satisfied and Oregon has been conquered! 520 miles and 41,000 ft. of climbing in the Race Across Oregon with a second place finish in a time of 34hours:24minutes:19seconds! An awesome race performance in what we believe is the 4th fastest time in the history of the race. Remember Sean is vegan, and trained for this race true to his commitment to plant-based nutrition. They say the course is now more difficult for a solo racer than in years past- there are more rolling hills, steeper grades and a greater sense of isolation throughout the route. Congratulations Sean on an amazing personal performance!

Friends, in a couple of weeks KIR plans to announce some wonderful new Nanu™ branded, plant-based nutrition products like those used by Sean in this race!
